OVERVIEW: Working as Full-Time Computer Operations Support, you will provide IT hardware support for Fastenal's branches and warehouses. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Providing professional telephone support to our employees o Working efficiently in our Fasthelp Ticketing System o Working on several tasks at one time such as talking on the phone, troubleshooting and typing issues into a Fasthelp Ticket o Determining the root cause of the computer hardware problems REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities o Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment o Ability to pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Knowledge of computer hardware.
