WISCO INC Plant Operator - Experienced in Williston, North Dakota

WISCO, a division of Gibson Energy, is seeking an Experienced Plant Operator for our Williston, North Dakota location. This individual will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and documenting all communication for reference; coordinating incoming and out going loads at the plant, maintaining a safe worksite; ensuring visitors, drivers and contractors are aware of hazards, procedures and expectations; and developing positive relationships with landowners, neighbors and customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating proficiency:Adhere to Gibson Energy procedures and policies.Prioritize and perform daily maintenance and tasks as required and instructed.Proficient understanding to follow all facility Standard Operating Procedures. (SOPand#39;s)Proactive response to facility/operational deficiencies and difficulties immediately.Perform all operational duties in the most time effective and safest manner possible.Gather information (cuts, samples, etc.) and document accordingly.All samples must be taken using the correct procedure including labeling and storing properly.Ensure that the worksite stays In Control and safe at all times.Inform the Lead Operator and Facility Manager of all related activities on an ongoing basis.Customer Service and Relations:Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Keep a documented log of all communication for reference.Book and coordinate all incoming and outgoing loads at the plant. No load that falls within Gibson acceptance parameters will be refused unless necessary. This requires either a Lead Operator or the Facility Managerand#39;s consent.Unload/load trucks as quickly as possible while maintaining a safe worksite.Ensure that an appropriate orientation is completed for all visitors, drivers and contractors at the plant site. All hazards, procedures, and expectations must be clearly communicated at this time.Develop positive relationships with landowners and neighbors, as well as, our customers.Facility Housekeeping:Gibson has a very high expectation regarding housekeeping at all facilities.Pride of Ownership is the company motto.Employee Management:Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation among all staff at all times.Participate in training and development, as instructed, with ongoing support from the Lead Operator and Facility Manager.Notify the Lead Operator and Facility Manager of all disputes immediately.Plant and Personal Safety:Exercise all Gibson policies and procedures in a safe and efficient manner.Awareness of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations and ensure they are in compliance.Attend and participate in the monthly safety meetings.Willingly participate in the scheduled mock emergency exercises.Accountable to submit all inspection checklists as assigned.Complete and submit task observations as required.Responsible for completing and submit Hazard ID forms for any hazards identifiedComplete and issue Safe Work Permits along with Hazard Assessments as required.Understanding of the plantand#39;s overall expense budget and adhere to it daily.Experience with the facilityand#39;s (Emergency Response Plan) ERP, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and the SOP correspondence.Administration:Ensure an accurate and timely flow of the required daily paperwork.Defined proficiency with the in-house database system.
