Job Summary: Zel Technologies is seeking an exceptionally qualified individual to serve as a MC-12 Instructor Combat Systems Operator in support of training operations for 137th Special Operations Wing (137th SOW), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).
Essential Job Functions: Provide instruction, in accordance with applicable DoD, USSOCOM, Air Force and ANG instructions to meet USAF proficiency and qualification standards on Air Force-administered written examinations and flight evaluations for prepartory courses, initial qualification (basic, instrument mission), transition (conversion, re-qualification), upgrade qualification (instructor, aircraft commander, special mission, evaluator, dual qualification of sensor oeprators), and key staff, continuation, refresher course training as required to meet the on-time graduation and annual student throughput requirements of this contract.
Must have 500 PM hours (all aircraft flown) and 100 hours in similar type aircraft
Must possess an FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and appropriate category and class ratings
Must be instructor qualified in MC-12 and current in U.S. military aircrsaft within the last 2 years, OR forme Instructor CSO or Enlisted Instructed Sensor Operator (1A3, 1A4, or 1A9) qualified on a tactical ISR platform, to include the AC-130 within the previous 4 years if the following conditions are met:
8 years of military operational flying duty
At least 2 years OR 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the proposed MDS and associated mission sets
In lieu of MC-12 qualification, SOF-experienced pilots with BE-300 type-rating with Proline 21 differences certification are acceptable
Must have attended an Academic Instructor Course (AIC) or have military instructor experience in U.S. military aircraft and provide the certificate of completion
Travel outside the local area may be required
Support outside normal duty hours (M-F 0730-1630) may be required
Must have an active Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility security clearance
May be tasked as Onsite Lead as main point of contact and conduit between contracted worforce and the Government
