JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 13296 JOB TITLE: Director of IT Operations JOB DETAILS: The Director of IT Operations has two primary areas of responsibility: to assure efficient operations of ICIT organization and to facilitate strategic alignment with the University's goals, objectives and plans. The person in this position acts as the operational leader of ICIT, overseeing personnel development and recruitment functions, budget and contract management, and relationship management with all units of the university. The Director of Operations is responsible for achieving operational excellence of the ICIT organization by developing of and ensuring adherence to the Information Technology policies, procedures, and guidelines, and managing support and logistics functions of the organization. In the area of strategic alignment, the Director of Operations will facilitate the ICIT strategic planning and reporting process, advocating for and executing programs to ensure the innovative application of technologies in support of UW-Whitewater initiatives.
