Job Title Instrument Operator- Night Shift

Job Description The basic function and job requirements of the survey instrument operator is specialized knowledge of surveying instrumentation including optical and electronic devices such as total station, robotic total station, GPS, level and data collector to measure and verify elevations, angles and distances. Practical knowledge of construction survey methods and procedures and basic knowledge of mathematical calculations to establish and locate vertical and horizontal reference points, and line staking for construction projects, civil engineering and survey terminology and descriptive materials including maps, plats, drawings, and specifications.
Basic Job Requirements The candidate should have High School Diploma (or relevant work experience). Minimum three (3) years as a Survey Instrument Operator. Night Shift rotation may be a possibility.
Other Job Requirements Experience as Construction Surveyor, ability to understand construction plans and maps, ability and knowledge of survey computations and basic knowledge of AutoCAD is plus.
Preferred Qualifications • Typically has (1) year of project experience
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as basic knowledge of spreadsheets
• Good oral and written communication skills
