The Director - Service Center Operations will to lead our service center teams toward continuously improving the industry reputation for Alfa Laval service during every customer transaction opportunity. Expectations & Responsibilities: Lead the change of culture in the service center teams where the result of each and every Customer Experience is the primary key indicator of success or failure. Drive implementation of key Service Division strategies and projects within Service Center Operations Leadership - Clear and Straightforward Leader who is “360 degree” respectful, open, honest, informal and friendly. Responsible for overall operations at Alfa Laval USA Service centers, currently located in: Chesapeake-VA Greenwood-IN Houston-TX Richmond-VA Carter Lake-IA Fresno-CA. Together with the regional Service center teams, oversee and improve: Repair/Reconditioning Lead-times Responsiveness and professional communications toward customers Personnel – recruiting and development of SC leaders, skilled workers and their talents Quality – processes, disciplines, tools and skills Service Center Facilities and infrastructure Factory Result – Labor Absorption credits & Service Center costs Investments Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) measures and routines Claims reduction Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of the Successful Candidate: Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Engineering discipline. MBA preferred. 8 – 10 years progressively responsible operations management experience, including working with sales teams and project management experience. Strong knowledge of company operations/equipment and processes. Strong understanding of financial management concepts and business systems and processes.
