AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Manager, Operations Strategy in Walnut Creek, United States

Essential Functions /Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the implementation of a channel management framework between Branches and MSC from both revenue and workforce perspectives.

  • Act as principle lead on the development of a rolling 36 month Operations strategy that encompasses both Branch channel and MSC.

  • Act as a key administrator of Next Gen Branch strategy aligning roll-out schedule, strategy documents, and internal partner support.

  • Act as a principle in our efforts to continuously evolve our member engagement strategy including the models used to serve our communities.

  • Maintain external analyses on competitive set across lines of business and developments affecting operating channels.

  • Analyze, design, and deliver projects that enhance member value, drive traffic and/or revenue growth, or otherwise align with our operational strategy.

  • Act as a key partner with internal teams in the design and execution of AAA initiatives.

  • Assist other members of the Operations Leadership team with identifying and correcting operational gaps or realizing opportunities to improve effectiveness.

  • Manage direct report(s) by providing effective leadership and coaching as well as providing career development support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Well-developed analysis and problem solving abilities

  • Ability to conduct independent research and develop logical, actionable conclusions

  • Experience in strategy development and macro analyses

  • Ability to present to, and work effectively with, senior executives

  • Ability to effectively manage both long term strategy and short term project execution

  • Strong business acumen

  • Experience development financial models and conducting return analyses

  • Ability to foster positive relationships across corporate partners and field team

  • Excellent business writing skills and ability to author formal documents

  • Project management experience an asset

Education, Work Experience, Licenses & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • MBA Preferred

  • 5+ years experience
