Role Summary:

OMLP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) and Environment, Health & Safety functions at GE.

Essential Responsibilities:

OMLP is a 2 year program consisting of 3 eight-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. Typical rotations include one or more of the following:

• Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor

• Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)

• Technical – (lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)

• Environment, Health & Safety (site operations support, EHS media support)

OMLP's will be placed at one of the following businesses based on availability of positions, the interviewer’s assessment and the applicant's preference (indicated in the online application):

Position Description:

OMLP members have the opportunity to learn the entire supply chain, state of-the-art methods of manufacturing, sourcing, and to be exposed to environment, health, and safety technical and business aspects within a business through structured course work and practical application. Coursework includes: Supply Chain Management, LEAN Manufacturing Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Project Management, and Business Acumen. GE's focus on process integration, from design to sourcing through manufacturing and delivery, has been critical to meeting our customers' expectations. OMLP is designed to successfully integrate the supply chain with other key processes in GE. The experience gained during the rotational assignments positions OMLP members for accelerated career growth.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

A four year Engineering or Supply Chain degree

GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0

Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain (preferred)

Relocation requirements:

Below are the typical sites for each business, however due to the wide spread footprint of our businesses its not an all-encompassing list.

Aviation: There are 25+ locations including Cincinnati, OH; Greenville, SC; Lynn, MA; Santa Ana, CA; Wilmington, NC; Albuquerque NM. Must be open to relocation on program

Energy Connections: There are 15+ locations including: Pittsburgh, PA; Charlottesville, VA; Salem, VA; Morristown (Knoxville), TN; Clearwater, FL. Must be open to relocation on program.

Healthcare: There are 15+ locations including Milwaukee, WI; Phoenix, AZ; Laurel, MD. Must be open to relocation on program.

Lighting/Current: Cleveland, OH; Hendersonville, NC & move between locations once in two years

Oil & Gas: There are 15+ locations including: Houston, TX; San Antonio, TX; Lufkin, TX; Billerica, MA; Twinsburg, OH, Minden, NV; Longmont, CO; Oklahoma City, OK; Jacksonville, FL; Skaneateles, NY; Bradford, PA; Lewistown, PA; Must be open to relocation on program.

Power: There are 15+ locations including: Pensacola, FL; Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC; Bangor, ME; Schenectady, NY; Houston, TX; Wilmington, NC;. Must be open to relocation on program.

Renewable Energy: Schenectady, NY; Pensacola, FL. Must be open to relocation on program.

Transportation: Willing to relocate to Erie, PA & be willing move to either MI, FL, CO, CA & other field sites once in two years
