[POSITION SUMMARY] The purpose for this position is to monitor the Financial/Accounting/Operational Controls. The Control will monitor the financial, accounting, and operational controls for the Payments Group. [POSITION DUTIES] A. Reconciles all of the DD & GL accounts assigned to the Control Team for dPayments, ePayments and Cash Services (50% - Accounting Controls positions only),B2. Prepares a detailed, aged listing of outstanding items and provides an explanation for each difference as well as the expected clearing date. (10-20%),E2. Assist in the development and testing certification of new accounting/operational processes and controls (10-30%),B1. Assist the Dept in identifying and correcting any differences in the accounts; researches and analyzes and resolves discrepancies in Financial/Accounting positions identified by Partenon for the purposes of preventing possible future occurrences.,C. Completes all reports as required, including those required by the Banks Reconcilement Audit Group; Responds to requests for information from the Banks Reconcilement Audit Group (Accounting Controls Positions Only),F. Conducts Internal Control Assessment and Certification in process of Financial and Operational Controls; Works with the SOX Compliance team in assessing and testing Controls (10-20%),E1. Test the Financial/Accounting/Operational Controls that have been put in place within Operations to ensure that such process are performed in accordance with Bank Policy.,D. Keeps a detailed log of all incidences, including root causes and aging, and follows up with IT in the support of the clearance of system incidences



[QUALIFICATION] Between 3 and 5 years or more years in a banking or services/operations environment; Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of training and experience. [EXPERIENCE] Between 3 - 5 years [SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE] Demonstrated knowledge of banking operations, excellent analytical and organizational skills,Excellent oral and written communication skills.,Excellent understanding of accounting processes and experience with the monitoring, settlement and reconciliation of general ledger applications,Knowledge of Financial/Accounting/Operational controls, with strict emphasis on adherence to all regulatory and audit requirements,People oriented. Problem solver with the ability to perform well in a fast paced multi-tasking environment,Self-motivated. Working knowledge of Personal Computers and Microsoft Office applications.
