Our Financial Services Advisory Department focuses on wealth & asset management, banking and capital markets, insurance and private equity to provide Advisory services in the areas of Performance Improvement, Risk and IT to financial services organizations in Luxembourg and in EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India & Africa).

In order to support the growth of our Financial Services Advisory Department, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced:

Manager - Strategy, Customer & Operations for Financial Services (m/f)

Our Strategy, Customer & Operations consultants help our clients to design and execute enterprise-wide performance transformation initiatives. Our activities range from strategy formulation and strategic analysis to the design of new operating models, the reengineering of processes and organizations, the management of business/IT transformation programs and the selection and implementation of banking packages.

Qualifications:

Your responsibilities:

  • Delivering added value to clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions to improve their business and streamline processes.

  • Helping our clients to execute enterprise-wide performance transformation initiatives.

  • Leading teams on client engagements in an effective and efficient manner.

  • Contributing to the development of thought leadership, tools and methods with our international network.

  • Building and leveraging relationships with clients.

  • Building strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other service lines across the organization.

  • Contributing to the growth of the Financial Services Advisory Department by executing sales initiatives and helping in key accounts management:

Your profile:

  • You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent certification in Engineering or Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.

  • You have at least 6 years of relevant work experience in the financial industry within the Luxembourgish market in a local Big 4 firm, in another international consulting firm or in a comparable role in a financial services organization.

  • You possess in-depth experience in strategy definition and / or transformation projects (e.g. strategy, operations, process efficiency improvement and project management).

  • You demonstrate a profound understanding of processes in the banking or in the funds industry and solid knowledge of the regulatory environment shaping the industry.

  • You have a proven track record in business development, i.e. successfully identifying, initiating and nurturing new or on-going business opportunities.

  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence and top results.

  • You are able to manage a team and you act as a team player.

  • You display excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.

  • You are fluent in English. French and/or German would be preferable with any other language being an advantage.
