A unique opportunity has arisen within EMEIA Financial Services Tax for a Senior Manager to join the Operations Team to cover maternity leave.
This team sits at the heart of EMEIA FSO Tax, working with the Partners to drive investment performance and operational change. This role will see you involved in developing the operational structure of the EMEIA FSO Tax business across 13 locations with revenues of $300m.
It is a broad and varied role, key responsibilities will include:
Managing a mutli-country Operating Model Improvement project:
Working with the EMEIA FSO Tax Leadership team and key stakeholders across the 13 markets to engage, plan and implement significant structural change in the business. This project aims to bring efficiencies to delivery models through technology enablement and business change
Managing investments within the business:
ensuring appropriate risk assessments and stakeholder agreements are achieved
oversight and tracking the return on these investments to report into the EMEIA FSO Tax Leadership team
Commercial and pricing management:
Overseeing and inputting into significant pricing and commercial discussions on RFPs, technological developments and Global funding agreements within the business. This role provides a great opportunity to gain insights and contribute to a range of innovative and market leading business decisions
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are a must, given the broad range of key stakeholders you will be influencing in managing this business change project and ensuring financial integrity across the investment portfolio. Due to the nature of this role, change management experience would be desirable.
Flexibility of style is important as you’ll interact daily with EMEIA FSO Tax Partners, staff and various functions across the business and Region. You will wear many hats in these interactions including service provider, controller or risk manager, and facilitator. Achieving the balance between those responsibilities is absolutely fundamental to this role.
You will need to team effectively with the EMEIA FSO tax Leadership team, the wider FSO Tax Operations team and our joint venture partners which include EMEIA Technology Enablement, HR, Business Development, QRM and Finance. You will need to ensure you have an awareness of general business strategy, performance themes and issues as this will help you in determining where the investment and commercial priorities should be.
You do not need to be an expert in all these fields, indeed the current members of the Operations Team hail from a variety of backgrounds; Tax, Project Management, Business Management, Recruitment and Accountancy, but being flexible and a strong relationship manager is key.

This role is for a minimum 14 month period allowing for overlap with the current incumbent at commencement.
