Senior Sales Operations Analyst

Role Summary:

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing a wide variety of reports and analysis and other business intelligence needed to support the international sales organization objectives. The position will lead or help coordinate the development of critical sales tools such as Salesforce.com and Business Objects, and will drive improvements to sales operations processes generally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Develop and/or enhance standard sales reports from Business Objects, and other reporting systems. Provide regular monthly or quarterly sales reporting, analytics and other business intelligence to all international business units; such as

  • Historical sales trends

  • Comparison of actual sales against forecast

  • Customers and international sales teams performance

  • Average selling price per region and product group

  • Develop in Excel ad hoc reports and graphs as needed

  • Quotas: Manage the initial phase of the yearly international sales Quotas set-up

  • Implementation of new ERP and new Business Intelligence systems: Masimo is undertaking a major enhancement of his systems and the Senior Sales Operations Analyst will take part of the systems & reports requirements, develop related processes and improve existing ones

  • Sales Forecasts: Work with finance to develop quarterly sales forecasts and annual plans for the international sales teams.

  • Sales Tools: Support and maintain the deal sheet profitability tool for the international sales teams

  • Pricing: Create and maintain internal & customer price lists in Excel. Develop new products pricing. Provide analysis of products, average selling prices and customer price trends

  • CRM: Work with the International sales teams to ensure that opportunities and other key data inputs are correctly updated on a timely basis in salesforce.com. Provide regular reports and analysis from Salesforce.com on the opportunity pipeline and other key business areas. Maintain certain key data tables in the CRM system

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree, in Business or related field is required

Desired Training and Experience Required:

  • Minimal five years of experience in a related role

  • Expert Excel skills;

  • Strong experience with BI tools;

  • Experience working with Sales / Order Management processes in ERP systems;

  • Strong experience with CRM system (Salesforce will be a plus);

  • Experience working in a US company and multinational environment;

  • Good English oral and written skills, other languages an advantage;

  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change;

  • Organized and detailed oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with management, executives, internal staff, peers, outside sales reps and customers;

  • Effective judgment, problem solving/analytical and interpersonal skills; and the ability to interface cross functionally;
