Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Platform Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and protecting NBCUniversal digital content on large video platforms. In this role, the Platform Operations Analyst is tasked with monitoring and managing tools on video platforms that distribute infringing NBCUniversal content. This position plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing NBCUniversal’s content protection efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively provide dedicated protection and enforcement coverage for large streaming platforms (YouTube, Facebook, DailyMotion, etc.)

  • Assist in leading daily CMS management and maintenance of daily to-dos

  • Proactively monitor release schedules across the company and assist with priority list creation to ensure content is protected across platforms

  • Reduce the amount of uptime for unauthorized videos and video streams by managing YouTube queues and other platform content management systems

  • Triage and take action on urgent requests through piracy alert inbox

  • Categorize user generated videos and label assets for reporting purposes (brand reports, current season report, library titles, and others)

  • Assist with creation of brand/title specific reports through data gathering and analysis

  • Participate in team planning sessions and pitch-outs

  • Participate with reporting on YouTube brand/title claiming efforts

  • Independently lead projects that contribute to broader department and company initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with content management, online video or digital marketing on major platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo and DailyMotion

  • Deep knowledge of online videos platforms such as YouTube and/or Facebook Video

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing, reporting and presenting large data sets in Microsoft Excel using pivot tables and conditional formattingEligibility Requirements

Desired Characteristics

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience working with the YouTube Content Management System and Content ID strongly preferred; YouTube Digital Rights Certification is also a plus

  • Previous experience working with social media analytics (especially YouTube Analytics and Ads Partner Revenue Reports) is a plus

  • Working knowledge of various rights management tools on major social video platforms

  • Understanding of reporting and analysis capabilities within YouTube and other platforms

  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve platform related issues

  • Effective project management and operations experience

  • Experience managing multiple YouTube channels is a plus

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, work hands-on, and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Detail oriented with the ability to interface with all levels of NBCUniversal personnel
