The CNC Operator will have the ability to determine tooling requirements, set-up procedures, control settings and machining methods and sequences. Perform daily operation of the Morbidelli, Weeke, Biesse & Brema machines.

This is a night shift position 11:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Required Skills

Education Requirement

  • Computer Numerical Control certification

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to communicate in English (both oral and written)

  • Intermediate computer skills


  • One (1) year experience on routers/point-to-point CNC machines

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and related technical data

Required Experience

  • Mount / Install, align and secure tooling as per requirement

  • Calculate and set machine controls to position the work piece and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed and feed rates

  • Follow shop floor controls

  • Perform required quality inspections

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Able to take the initiative to solve problems, where appropriate

  • Must be willing to cross-train in various areas of the department as required

  • Follow all Knoll safety policies and procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • Participate and maintain 5S in the workplace

  • Maintain and follow the ISO standard operating procedures

  • Ability to work in a multi-shift environment including flexible hours and weekends

  • Participate in and contribute to the continuous improvement process

  • All other duties as assigned
