EAM Specialist – Global Operations Excellence

The EAM Specialist must be able to take a project through the complete project life cycle. Starting with conceptual design, to analysis and conducting workshops, to interfacing with business and IT, to implementation and final testing, and start-up.

The successful candidate will be part of a global process team within the GOE Reliability group focused on design, implementation and data system integrity/functional support duties associated with the Enterprise Asset Management system and JDE ERP interface system as a primary function. This position requires a combination of office work and global travel. This position typically requires 30% travel globally, with durations up to 3 weeks in multiple countries. Accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, integrate, and manage Maintenance Management and EAM Systems from proposal through post implementation

  • Act as a liaison between Business, Operations and IT

  • Evaluate and capture business requirements and processes to provide design and solutions to meet business needs

  • Perform day to day support activities for global regions and proactively address problems and issues of any scope.

  • Administer, monitor, and enhance the EAM interfaces

  • Understand data integration and web services protocols/programs

  • Analyze and troubleshoot information, and work with IT development, Reliability and Operations to implement fixes as required

  • Work with a team to prepare test data and execute detailed test plans, and develop business and technical requirements documentation

  • Implement and manage data systems and programs which enhance reliability & asset management systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business with a minimum of 5 years in an industrial environment

  • Proven knowledge of Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) or relevant CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • Results orientated, strong customer focus, and a team player are a must.

  • Knowledge or Experience in JDE Inventory and Purchasing management.

  • Experience working with Oracle Applications, databases, & ERP (JD Edwards)

  • Experience working with Web services, XML

  • Proficient with SQL Developer

  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time (domestic and international), with some durations lasting up to 3 weeks in multiple countries.


  • Experience with Cognos & Crystal reports

  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)

  • Project Management Training (PMI or equivalent)
