POSITION SUMMARYFacilitate selling and provide direction to the Cruise Service operations team for the Cruise Channel by mapping each new product from a distribution standpoint, pricing for distribution and developing service systems and procedures that support ongoing Customer requirements within the unique Cruise Ship distribution network and service structure.RESPONSIBILITIES SalesInterface with distribution points and NP supply chain to plan and deploy existing and new products within the distribution structure to include:Submission of cruise channel forecast to Demand Planning.Regularly analyze/validate cruise channel forecast DC splits. Develop ship location system to support proper DC splits.Support supply planning by communicating key issues and uncertainty behind the forecast.Coordination with deployer for proper management of inventory movement to ensure industry standard Case Fill Rate.Coordination with Supply Chain to ensure working capital at cruise DC s mirrors Nestl KPI expectation.Communicate and assist with AOC group relative to issues arising from new product introductions.Assist in all planning activities for new product introductions given the unique requirements of the various on cruise lines.Assist in the launch of Nestle Professional products as well as other Nestl division SKU s authorized in the cruise channel.Assist AOC group in resolving issues related to existing products including shipments, product shorts and DC issues.Assist with both cruise lines and AOC group to resolve pricing issuesEstablishment and maintenance of relationships within cruise operations to ensure appropriate evolution of business growth and logistical expectations.ServiceDevelop Cruise annual service schedule process, including intra-department coordination with NP dispatch, cruise customers and direct to ships. Communicate schedules 30 90 days in advance.Lead the Sales and Service ERF s submitted in Salesforce - Equipment Request processes for both new business and service related replacements.Direct Cruise Supervisors in the management monthly ESP dispenser on-hand inventories providing monthly actual inventory vs. par levels, equipment status by platform and ensure inventories are aligned to the Dispenser DF.Lead Cruise Supervisors ESP monthly manual MRP spare parts ordering process, developing target inventories and monthly ESP inventory reporting. Work directly with Director Service Operations developing the Cruise Service annual budgeting/forecasting processesLead business equipment placement projects providing scheduling and resourcing solutions to the cruise field service operations team. Partner with Material Handling Trade Asset team the operations side of equipment scrapping process at remote locations ensuring compliance with best practices. Development of monthly business analytics and scorecard reporting including ESP monthly service data, costs savings tracking and Cruise Line specific service reporting.
Qualifications QualificationsBachelor s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 3 years of progressive and successful Supply Chain experience. Must have a track record of strong consistent performanceKnowledge and understanding of the cruise industry preferredProficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with SAP APO, BW, Cognos, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word. Team player, with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across all functions and levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to effectively manage complexity and work within a fast paced, dynamic Operations environment.
