Role Summary:

Mobilize & lead multifunctional Hydro teams to develop and optimize the proposal strategy toward winning schemes: Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Mgt.,legal, others.

Take ownership to optimize and challenge the project cost and alignment to Customer requirements to maximize hit rate and GE’s profitability

Lead the Hydro proposal process, driving continuous cost out and Product and Services competitiveness (and ensure tendering costs decrease).

Lead an effective ITO-OTR handover

Essential Responsibilities:

Commops and costing Leader will partner with our Hydro sales team to deliver on time winning proposals to our Customers, grow our new Units Small and Services business, and deliver on the operating plan. Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle

He will be accountable for the Orders committed for the Region

Customer, service and “solutions” mindset

Fundamentals of International Contracts reading and understanding

Power generation equipment knowledge and EPC contracts experience is an advantage

Optimize the technical solutions together with technical tendering

Focus on delivering coaching, leadership and guidance to his team.

Drive the proposal and negotiation for each opportunity (pricing, technical, financial, T&C) and commercial inputs in close partnership with Sales team, leading to successful deal closure and profitable contracts.

Push to redesign process and organization to meet market requirement


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

10+ years of experience in industry-related engineering, sales and/or marketing.

5+ years experience in a commercial and Customer-facing role.

5+ years leadership role

Language proficiency : Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Strong presentation skills at the executive level
