JOB SUMMARY:This is a Operations Analyst I position in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program Customer Service (Lobby) Team in the Tampa Service Center. The incumbent will complete activities associated with complex and/or escalated cases. Assess cases, review supporting documentation and make decisions. Contact business partners to confirm and gather information and review and update critical data fields. Assist with performance monitoring, review the work of others and participate in collaborative monitoring. Serve as a subject matter expert for the team. Assist with training team members, developing training materials and providing technical assistance to unit, process and region team members. Initiate and respond to requests and assist the supervisor in compiling data for reporting purposes.

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue

  • Two years of experience conducting research and analyzing information to make decisions. *

  • Experience coaching, mentoring or instructing others.

  • Two years of experience communicating with customers for the purpose of resolving inquiries. *

  • One year of experience in a Child Support Program.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


  • *College may be substituted for minimum qualifications marked with an asterisk at the rate of 60 semester or 90 quarter hours for each year of experience required.
