The Institutional Clients Group (ICG)Third Party Controls team provides end-to-end management and governance of third party risk for Citi’s ICG sector. The Global ICG Supplier/TP Risk analyst will assist the Global Third Party Officer for Private Bank O&T and GTRS by providing TPRM reporting, data completeness/integrity assessments and analytical support to leadership within Third Party Risk Management and the ICG leadership. This role supports the key program goals of:
Focusing appropriate attention on third parties posing highest risk.
Improving senior management’s visibility into all risks from the use of third parties.
Leveraging holistic third party risk reporting as another tool in the management of third party performance.
Changing outsourcing behavior to reduce risk as supplier risk approaches defined trigger levels.
The geographic scope will encompass all Regions for ICG (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, EMEA, Japan and Mexico).
Facilitate Governance and Line of Business meetings with Regional Business Leads and Business Supplier Relationship Managers (covering Enterprise communications, review of portfolio, audits, Citi supplier due diligence etc.) to review due diligence issues to ensure compliance to Third Party polices.
Manage the Global CPB O&T Third Party Management Program for the CPB O&T supplier portfolio
Liaise with ICG Risk Control and Enterprise Supply Chain to drive program and individual projects forward within CPB O&T
Maintain data integrity through recurring reviews and manage updates of Third Party Relationship Records
Perform issue escalation to CPB O&T Management chain
Oversight of supplier performance, Annual Due Diligence of TPISAs , Third Party Risk Assessment Process, TP Training, and other Citi Enterprise Requirements
Adherence to Third Party Management Policy & Standards
Conduct all due diligence items for high risk relationships (Exit Strategies , Performance Assessments, CoB coordination, Etc.)
Assist with enhancement of the comprehensive supplier risk management analysis and reporting functions, with focus on analysis of key supplier risks, to include emerging risks, recommendations for process and control improvements.
Assist in identifying relationships and process implementation for Third Party Suppliers currently managed outside of the Third Party Management policy.
Assist with creation and implementation of Data Control initiatives such as TPM CASP Gatekeeper functions.
Assist with development and implementation of a monitoring process for Unapproved Spend, MCS and Performance Monitoring.
Assist with the development of a comprehensive supplier risk management reports as appropriate to include enterprise, sector and LOB KRI’s, thresholds and control status. Work closely with ICG Controls/MCA team to leverage and coordinate reporting approach.
Supports regulatory / audit readiness and supports exam management as directed.
Participate in other initiatives and / or projects as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
4+ years’ experience in financial services risk management in one or more of the following risk disciplines: technology or information security risk, business continuity, operational risk, supplier risk, audit or controls.
Broad knowledge of financial services risk management required. Understanding of supplier or third party risk impact in a financial services company and consumer banking industry regulatory requirements is preferred.
Broad knowledge in Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Testing disciplines.
Broad knowledge in outsourcing, sourcing, and supplier management.
Knowledge and proficiency in managing Third Party contracts and legal terminology.
Knowledge and proficiency in Citi’s Third Party Management tools such as CASP, eSourcing, P2P and BAW preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of supplier relationships including but not limited to Software, ITO, BPO, and specialized finance services and product suppliers
Demonstrated ability to perform audits or assessments related to risk management and controls and to analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement. Direct supplier/third party assessments experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to produce executive management reports on current operating practices, risks or controls.
Able to develop and implement risk management strategies and plans based on generally accepted standards.
