Description:

The Joint Information Operations Fusion Center (JIOFC) Targeter will:

Assist JIOFC in the identification, prioritization, and planning of IO targets. Specific tasks include:

  • Perform targeting capability including the development of targets in support of plans and orders

  • Synchronize targeting efforts with CNO, EW, OPSEC, and MISO ISO political and military objectives

  • Draft and route for Government approval, target nomination packages and other targeting products to enhance operational success

  • Coordinate all targeting products with the USSOCOM Joint Intelligence Center

  • Provide subject matter expertise to Component Commands in support of targeting including targeting coordination and plan deconfliction

  • Perform targeting assessments including the development and assessment of MOP and MOE with regard to targeting plans

  • Assist in the development of concepts of operation (CONOPs)

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and plans required for periodic updates

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in planning Targeting with duties including Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational full spectrum planning experience

  • 5 years of experience providing subject matter expertise to Component Commands ISO Targeting with specific expertise in Targeting coordination and plan deconfliction

  • 5 years of experience performing Targeting assessments with the ability to develop and assess MOP and MOE with regard to Targeting

  • 3 years of planning experience using Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)

  • 3 years of experience working with a Combatant Command (COCOM), Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) or equivalent level staff with duties including providing analyses, recommendations, and draft products to assist in the development of information papers, planning orders, Operational orders, analyses, estimates, and briefings for Command leadership and primary staff

  • 3 years of experience with duties involving the planning, coordination and deconfliction of DOD plans, operations, actions and activities

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
