Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and disciplining of football student managers (12 PT = 6 FTE). Oversees a budget of over $500,000 for the sports of football, men's and women's golf. Directly responsible for the decision making of all Nike products and budget for the golf programs. In the absence of the Director of Football Equipment Operations, position is required to assume all duties of the director. Including but not limited to decision making of Nike purchases, meetings with upper management and coaches as well as all football equipment operations. Manage equipment receipt, storage, issue and return. Research and monitor new innovations and upgrades to shoes, apparel and protective equipment and make recommendations to Director of Equipment Operations. Travel is required in performing this job: In and Out of state Team travel and various athletic functions at various times of the year. Normal work schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, circumstances will arise that make it necessary for employee to be able to work weekends and evenings during annual events, i.e. recruiting weekends, game days, junior recruit days, clinics, etc. Exposure to liquid chemicals used in laundry room. Exposure to blood pathogens.
