An amazing opportunity awaits for a Branch Manager /Construction Sales with construction or manufacturing experience preferred. The Ideal candidate must be highly motivated to drive for results and be ready to reap the rewards of their efforts! We are looking for a professional Operations Manager to plan, direct and coordinate operations and Sales at our Saint Charles (St Louis) division. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. You will be expected to bring or acquire a sales book of business with contacts in the construction field.
You will manage a team and be responsible for overall effective management of assigned Division including establishment and monitoring of processes and procedures to ensure all daily, weekly and monthly job activities are performed. Must establish business practices to meet Profit/Loss, Safety and Human Resources objectives.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred: Course of study: Construction or related fields
Special Certification or Licensing: Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to obtain MCS/MVR approval and PACE certification and OSHA 300 Record keeping
EXPERIENCE: WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
Minimum 5 years of construction experience preferred
Required Industry Experience: (Construction, Insulation, Drywall, Trades, etc.): Prior P&L responsibility a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, accounting experience a plus
Strong Sales and Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Able to perform complex mathematical calculations.
Ability to interpret financial trends to include variances and business financial metrics.
Proficient in Office Software like word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software.
Capable of understanding blueprints and preparing sales estimates and complex quotes.
Knowledgeable of ERP applications (preferably Oracle).
