In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across the Drilling and Completions (D&C) team. Assist D&C technical and services staff with internal and external invoicing. To be successful in this role, you are detail oriented, interested in process improvement and comfortable initiating change, while delivering an accurate work product. You have great communication skills that provide productive interactions with internal customers, internal and external suppliers/vendors, and partners in the accounting organization.
Reviews, administers charge codes, and routes inbound invoices.
Identifies, investigates and resolves various coding issues with internal and external suppliers
Corrects duplicate charges and invoices with the Accounts Payable group.
Develops and maintains policies and procedures
Works with vendors to resolve any billing questions, issues or disputes.
Performs individual account analysis and reconciliation, including:
o Loading and verifying monthly invoice and billing data.
o Generate monthly/quarterly Accounts Payable reports for all assigned business units
Provides extensive support to D&C group
Assist with audit and data requests from multiple stakeholders
Performs clerical or administrative support where needed.
Minimum two (2) years of related experience in invoicing, and/or accounting
Possess competency in accurately entering data into software systems (Oracle and Wellview preferred), as well as the ability to work with MS Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions.
Proven research, math, interpersonal communication and written communication
Familiarity with basic technical terminology for Drilling and Completions operations
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects timely to comply with monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines
Able to investigate, respond to and resolve billing/invoicing communications and issues (via calls, emails, letters)
Able to draft business letters and emails to effectively communicate issues and solutions with vendors/suppliers
Ability to work within strict time constraints and changing priorities
