NJ Employer Production Operator 2nd Shift - Compression in Somerset, New Jersey

The position entails operating compression equipment including trouble shooting and minor mechanical adjustments. Must be able to keep accurate and detailed records, understand the batch records, and maintain cleanliness of work area. Follow standard operating procedures for the production operation. Second shift hours are 3:30pm to 11:30pm.ResponsibilitiesSetup and run compression machinery, as well as cleaning and minor maintenance of the equipmentFollow batch record instructions during the manufacturing process, as per Standard Operating ProceduresAnalyze and evaluate charts, follows simple diagrams, testing, and inspecting proceduresAdhere to safety guidelines and ensure that final products meet high quality standardsExecute production schedule as determined by Production ManagerFollow all Standard Operating Procedures and departmental policies/regulationsOther manufacturing related duties as assignedQualificationsEducationMinimum of a high school diploma or GED.Experience:3 to 5 years manufacturing experience pertaining specifically to compression.Physical and Environmental Conditions:The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. In general the activity level one usually performs is light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative and sedentary nature. This position may require lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
