Ziegler Cat has an opening for a Branch Operations Manager in Sioux City. The Branch Operations Manager leads the branch service department to ensure an efficient and profitable operation to support branch and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about developing and leading a successful team of employees, building the branch’s profitability, and creating exceptional customer relationships that continue to keep Ziegler Cat the dealer of choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through establishing a culture of professionalism, open interactive team communication, and a focus on acting with a sense of urgency for our customers

  • Create annual business plan and budget to promote machine sales, parts and service, safety, and teamwork

  • Produce a weekly report on branch activities

  • Develop and manage employees' growth through mentoring and training, and help recruit and hire additional branch personnel

  • Maintain the branch facility while reinforcing established Practices and Procedures to Ziegler standards

  • Implement and maintain procedures to meet customer's expectations for after-hours parts and service

  • Promote a safe and clean work environment

  • Identify opportunities for improvements, cost savings and ultimately drive branch profitability

Qualifications:

  • 2-year college degree required; 4-year college degree preferred

  • 5+ yrs. experience in related field, preferably Construction or Agriculture Equipment

  • 2+ years of hands-on service experience (technician, customer service, etc.)

  • 2+ years previous management or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of staff as well as with customers

  • Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills

  • Independent thinker and resourceful; sound decision-making skills and thrives under pressure

  • Outstanding customer service skills and superior level of professionalism

  • Previous budgetary responsibilities a plus

  • High level of honesty & integrity

  • Minimum physical requirements:

  • Push/pull up to 5 lbs

  • Lift up to 30 lbs
