General Electric ('GE') is looking for two engaged, open-minded and well-motivated summer interns (in the period June through August), to support the development and implementation of global legal entities governance projects. This paid internship will provide you with insight into the premier Digital Industrial company, focusing on legal operations, and will expose the intern to corporate governance and compliance of GE's legal entities in ASEAN.
Support development and implementation of global legal entities governance projects.
Drive and manage implementation of legal entities governance tools.
Implement a system for on-going support and training of legal entities tool users regionally.
Bachelor's degree (with a degree concentration in Legal or Business) or a Legal studies diploma (with expertise in company law and governance) in progress.
GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale up to 4.0 (unofficial transcriptshould be ,made available upon request).
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel,Outlook, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with web technologies.
Must be willing to execute this full time internship between 10-12 (consecutive) weeks between June and August/September 2017
Prior experience in finance, customer service and fulfillment.
Prior project coordination experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to successfully manage a high volume of data entry.
Ability to work on (and manage) multiple projects simultaneously.
