AP Sales Operations & Strategy manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include planning, reporting, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, key performance metric management, consistency in sales tools, quota management, sales job design, and incentives and commissions. Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.

The complexity of the role is high because the problem solving requires deep understanding of the industry, strong analytical skills and strategic thinking. The ever changing industry, partner dependencies and speed of transformation will add to the complexity of resolving issues.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales org planning process. Coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders.

  • Implementing and driving BMS – evaluate output for upside and risks

  • Creating and guiding key strategic projects to succeed

  • Ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvements. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvements.

  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new tools.

  • Provide input into senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs. Works with Finance and HR on the administration of such programs.

  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.

  • Through analytical methods, ensure resources are focused where we can maximize return

  • Builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel.

  • Collaborate across supply planning, sales, operations and finance to optimize our results.

  • Capability to think long term and drive projects.

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in proving analytically reporting and business insight.

  • Superior problem solving & analytical skills.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, Team player.

  • The ability to work proactively & autonomously.

  • Have a strong understanding of business performance results – financial & operational experience preferred
