Leidos CIO G6 Network Operations Lead in SIERRA VISTA, Arizona
The candidate will work in support of the US Army Intelligence School of Excellence Chief Information Officer/G6 (CIO/G6) in support of training and training related operations, located primarily at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The duties and responsibilities of the Hardware/Software Engineer may include but are not limited to the following:
Direct Network Engineer Team in support of the CIO/G6 mission; Perform new installation and daily maintenance of new/existing layer two and three switches, daily maintenance on network equipment to include ensuring latest OS is used and are Security and Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliant, and providing quick and superior customer service when network problems are reported, which may include some afterhours support. Troubleshoot network problems and document solutions. Prepare and present reports.
Travel < 10%. Other duty locations include Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, TX; Correy Station, Pensacola, FL; Camp Clay, GA; and Camp Williams, UT.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. (Interim Secret required before start)
• In depth knowledge of LAN technologies.
• Experience configuring, installing and troubleshooting of layer 2 switches.
• Layer 2 switch technology experience.
• VLAN configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Port/ether channel configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Layer 3 routing technology experience.
• Security and Cisco CCNA certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Solar Winds experience
• COMSEC experience
• Cisco CCNP certification
• Security certification
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications preferred
