Position Overview: Hubbell is seeking a Benefits Operations Manager to join our Corporate Human Resources Shared Service department in Shelton CT. Responsible for vendor and project management as well as the day to day administration and maintenance of benefit and wellness programs. This role supports all benefits initiatives including routine data analyses, annual enrollment planning, and document maintenance. Roles and Responsibilities: - Manages the administration of the company s US benefit plans and wellness program in accordance with plan documents, insurance contracts, vendor agreements, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations - Project manager for Annual Enrollment process to include coordination with TPA, vendors, and development of written communications and scheduling of employee information sessions - Responsible for vendor management (3-5 vendors). Establishes and maintains effective relationship with benefit plan carriers to ensure performance is maintained or exceeded - Completes third party benefit survey submissions - Drafts updated Summary Plan Descriptions as needed - Coordinates communication of benefit information to human resources, managers, and employees - Answer employee queries on all benefits matters including health, dental, vision, life, ADandD and short and long term disability - Generates routine audit reports and analyzes data to ensure compliance with applicable policies. Compiles recommendations and submits to manager. - May participate in compilation of due diligence data in support of merger and acquisition initiatives - Develop and maintain system reports required for benefit functions. Review and analyze report for discrepancies and anomalies - Analyze and model benefit plan costs for strategic planning; track and report on plan performance; forecast and budget variances and manage plan funding and cost analysis - Build and develop benefit processes for efficiencies - Completes other projects and duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Project and vendor management * Knowledge of U.S. Benefits and Wellness programs * Excellent customer service skills * Analytical skills and ability to use good judgment * Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word and Excel * Experience with SAP and ADP preferred Experience and Credentials: * Bachelor s degree in business with HR concentration preferred * Continuing education in Benefits or Project Management * 5 years general benefits experience, implementing and administering all benefits plans for large organizations * Minimal travel required (approx 10%) Hubbell Incorporated, its subsidiaries and affiliates, is an EO Employer AA: M/F/Veteran/Disability.
