The Operations Specialist performs transactions in compliance with regulatory and bank policies and procedures, and in adherence to bank security policies and confidentiality of bank records and customer information.Duties may include:Receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions, verifying accuracy, preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents.Responsible for direct priority escalations and the handling of inquiries and issues escalated to the department.Organizes and completes work accurately in accordance with established measures/deadlines and assigned goals.Responsible for the accurate completion of assigned data entry to various bank systems for the completion of the job function.Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients.Identifies and resolves issues within assigned scope.Attends and participates in meetings as required.May function as lead in department, function, or process.Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.Successful candidates will possess the following: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 or more years experience in operations of a financial institution preferred.Advanced knowledge in bank operations and regulations.Must be fully cross trained in all operation processes.Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs required.Proficient with MS Office and internet; core system (FIS preferred).Possess excellent human relations, communications and business writing skills.Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.Ability to comprehend and interpret Bank policies and procedures.Possess effective time management and organizational skills. Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow. High level of cooperation with others and is responsive to the Bankandrsquo;s needs.Exemplary motivation, enthusiasm, professionalism and team skills.High level of accuracy and great attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Ability to cope with pressure resulting from meeting required deadlines, reporting requirements and training responsibilities. Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information.
