Title: Learning and Development, Operations Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA

Riverbed is seeking a customer focused, motivated, analytical, and solutions oriented L&D Operations Leader based at our beautiful San Francisco Headquarters. This individual will have a blended role as LMS administrator, budget manager, and learning specialist for our global organization. They will report to the Director of L&D, and will manage one direct report.

Requirements:

L&D Operations

  • Supervise Training Coordinator and all aspects of their position.

  • Oversee all instructor led course planning, scheduling and execution.

  • Monitor and assist in class enrollments/invite cadence and necessary class cancellations.

  • Plan, create and execute communication and events for high potential program, including class invitations, webex meetings, training sessions, and dinners.

  • Assist with L&D Marketing and communication strategy.

LMS Administration (Sumtotal)

  • Maintain LMS functionality, general configuration, notification settings, and user feed errors.

  • Resolve all LMS support cases, collaborating as a Super Admin w/ other LMS admins and IT.

  • Identify and resolve individual user issues, and day to day bugs in the LMS, reporting, completion settings, and account discrepancies. Consult as the subject matter expert with partners and users to find solutions.

  • Upload, test and maintain course content for tech support team, and other requests from non-training groups.

  • Create LMS assignments, specifically responsible for semi-annual compliance/FCPA training execution, weekly tracking, and completion.

  • Lead systems migration, integration, and change management for the Sumtotal Tool.

  • Continuously seek out improvements to our processes and activities cross-functionally to create a learning experience for users.

  • Keep current with LMS/HR tool trends and developments and apply learning to improve internal tool and processes.

  • Develop and support user training for Learn users/admins & provide other education, tools, and tips for users

  • Consult with corporate leaders to setup/coordinate classes and learning paths.

  • Provide training course completion reports as needed.

Budgeting/Finance

  • Manage and maintain $1+ million dollar annual L&D Budget, incorporating all training cost detail by vendor and course. (Facilitator cost, materials cost, shipping cost, travel costs, etc.)

  • Request POs, submit and track all vendor and internal invoices, process team credit card payments.

  • Track all vendor travel invoices to ensure timely payment within budgeted quarter.

  • Present expense update and forecast to Finance Team monthly/quarterly.

  • Coordinate Vendor contract negotiations, contract maintenance, monitoring and renewal.
