Cruise is looking for an Product Operations Manager to grow our department of staff, contractors, and outsource teams that produce the ground truth datasets used to train and validate our autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Foster a healthy and collaborative culture while developing internal staff in their professional growth

Establishing, tracking, and report KPIs across a suite of tools and processes

Ensure teams deliver high output and continuously improve processes that scale the organization

Collaborating cross-functionally with the engineering and program teams to identify and help define improvements to workflows and tools

Build our off-shore presence and scaling capacity

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business management or relevant field

Excitement for self driving technology, and desire to make it a reality

Experience managing a large department of 50+ employees/contractors

3-5+ years experience in operations and people management at a high growth company

Able to recruit and lead a rapidly growing team, and scale offices/programs

Knowledge of best HR practices

Background in training employees/contractors

Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts

Bonus Points:

Experience starting and growing on-site and outsourced operations

MBA or relevant advanced degree

Exposure to machine learning
