FCi Federal has an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our team on our Federal Government contract at one of our FOSS site locations.
**Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:
Supervisors 5 or more employees.
Manages a team of staff consisting of File Clerks, Data Entry Clerks, General Office Workers, Mail Clerks, and Fraud Detection and National Security Clerks.
Supervises day to day operations ensuring that work is performed to optimum quality standards.
Initiates performance reviews and makes recommendations to Site Manager regarding promotions and terminations.
Supervisors progressive discipline process for all team members.
Assigns workloads to employees based on site needs to meet production and quality requirements.
Ensures timely delivery of all deliverables as they relate to their functional area.
Tracks the progress of all workflows in their functional area, and makes adjustment accordingly to achieve company objectives.
Reports functional area status to Site Manager.
Assists team members in daily functions when needed.
Reviews and approves the daily production report for each team member, paying particular attention to their achievement of performance standards on a daily basis and tracks for performance development discussions.
Assists in interviewing applicants and makes recommendation for new hire selections.
Trains new employee and conducts refresher training for current employees.
Ensures that the Standards of Operation for the functional area of responsibility is used, and kept up to date.
Conducts frequent internal quality audits.
**The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) suitability determination.
Must hold/be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Must successfully complete a comprehensive 7-year criminal and credit history background check.
Must successfully complete a drug screening.
Must pass the FCi Core Skills Computer Assessment.
**Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
High School Diploma or GED.
Some college preferred.
External candidates must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a records management or production environment.
Internal candidates that demonstrate the attributes needed to meet the requirements of this position and leadership capabilities, through at least 1 year of performance on the contract, and meet direct supervisory experience requirements.
**Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong command of the English language both verbally and written**
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate a professional work ethic
Ability to manage individuals and team workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary
Administrative and organizational skills
Ability to show initiative and commitment to company goals
Basic Computer skills
- The Operations Supervisor must be able to conduct repetitive body movements, push, pull, reach, stoop and/or bend and lift up to 45 pounds repetitively at times.
- Mainly office but may also include all other work environments as required.**
