The Solution Architect (SA) role is a client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings. This person is the single point of contact with responsibilities that include:

  • Deal Influencer:

  • Personally able to impact in winning the deal (directly interact with the client to influence)

  • Articulate a business outcome driven value proposal for the client / shaped a value tree with all dimensions (working capital improvement, cash improvement, TCO reduction, growth & revenue generation, customer journey/value)

  • Solution in the NEW:

  • Outcome based, transformational, journey to cloud, analytics AI Solutions

  • Build As-a-Service solution (flexibility, agility, consumption based model)

  • Disruptive and innovative, forward thinking and moving beyond what does exist today i.e., has been able to integrate one of our concept, platform into a solution rewarded by client

  • Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings

  • Prepare the spend estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan

  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups, and align the solution with final terms and conditions

  • Collaborate with the Service Architects (Product Directors) to plan and architect the overall delivery architecture and capabilities to support the service offerings

  • Sponsor/lead the initiatives to deploy new architecture & capabilities across the teams required for service offerings

  • Interface with the delivery organization/s to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver

  • Ensure delivery architecture is implemented according to policies/standards and solution is benchmarked externally

  • Maintain a keen understanding of marketplace intelligence (trends, competition etc.) in order to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop and promote business

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: HR, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, or Procurement

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Solution Planning/Deal Shaping

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading teams

  • Process Documentation and/or process training experience

  • Talent and Human Performance Operations including Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Employee Lifecycle Management, Workday

  • Ability to Handle very complex Solutions

  • Strong understanding for Deal Commercial

  • Ability to understand & Apply technology in architecting a solution

  • Deep content expertise (Such as Cloud, Security, Network, F&A, HR, Marketing) –

  • Ability to articulate a strong differentiation story in an offering

  • Ability to grasp the bigger picture as well as “be in the weeds”
