announcements), along with our mission-critical On-Premis business (Engineered

Systems, Servers, Storage, SPARC, etc.) has driven the creation of an I ntegrated B usiness P lanning

(IBP) team.

In responding to an increasingly complex business environment,

this new Integrated Business Planning Team has been formed to focus on

designing and implementing an Integrated Business Planning process to enable

and influence strategic management decision making & optimization of

business direction and decisions.

The remit of IBP is to look forward and insure our worldwide

operations team is well positioned to address our rapid and ongoing growth

curve. Across all avenues of Operations,

the IBP team is working to identify, define, scenario-model and drive strategic

initiatives to insure that changes that are and will be required to grow, and

optimize, the business, are in place.

We are seeking a highly-talented supply chain professional who can

strengthen our capabilities and help enable the broader business objectives.

You need to be able to demonstrate that you are an operations visionary capable

of understanding the ramifications of decisions made today, and how they affect

the business 2-5 years out.

The Integrated Business Planner will be responsible for

implementing an Integrated Business Planning process within WWOps and cross

functionally with the Business Units, Sales and Finance. This individual

will work with all Operations functions; Product Lifecycle, Demand Planning,

Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Supplier Management, Customer Fulfillment and

Logistics to rapidly scale and align with a business growth trajectory.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive Strategic Alignment by;

  • Designing and implementing strategic IBPmeetings, internal and cross functional, providing an interlocked direction formaking informed business decisions

  • Managing and leading monthly IBP reviews fordiscussion and to drive decision making on all relevant aspects of the Oraclehardware strategy

  • Taking ownership and being accountable forstrategic initiatives designed to optimize supply, demand and cost elements

  • Collaborating across multiple organizationsand teams on cost, quality, lifecycle as related to the IBP process

  • Developing and supporting scenario basedmodeling for supply, demand and cost implications

  • Partnering both intra- and cross-functionallyfor process and tool development, piloting processes and implementation with aview to standardization and scalability

  • Identifying cross functional strategicalignment gaps and/or opportunities for improvement, and address through theimplementation of practical solutions

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree equivalent in BusinessAdministration or related Supply Chain field (preferred)

  • 6-8 years Broad and deep experience in hightech Supply Chain strategy and execution

  • Experienced in Demand Planning , CollaborativePlanning, S&OP, Supply Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Management

  • Analytics – ability to aggregate large amountsof data, filter for importance/relevance and summarize for relevant decisionmaking

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamicenvironment with a level of ambiguity consistent with new business models

  • Ability to think creatively and apply to theOperations environment

  • Team player, excellent leadership,interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

  • Strong MS Excel skills, with advanced Excelbackground preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Develops and communicates high level supply plans that convey Oracle liability to suppliers.

Develops and communicates high level supply plans that convey Oracle liability to suppliers. Interfaces regularly with marketing new product teams and finance planning teams to assure plans are as accurate as possible. Analyzes historical volumes and integrates learnings into plans query writing and/or analysis is often needed. Monitors consumption at all levels and update plans as needed to diagnose consumption issues and drive resolution with the appropriate functions. Maintains all planning item attributes. Manages geographical splits for the plans. Ensures plans flowing out to supplier portals are accurate; performs plan validations an extract commitments from te supply base judge the quality of those commitments and escalate as needed. Supports new product teams, end of life teams and excess and obsolete inventory teams waterfalls and other management reports as needed.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
