General Duties

  • Responsible to visually inspect high volume production parts.

  • Must be able to adjust equipment within the production line.

  • Must be able to read and interpret precision inspection gauges and fixtures

  • Operate fork truck to move containers and/or performing shipping duties.

  • Participation in team orientated activities and communication skills to support the achievements of the plant's goals and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Must pass assessment testing in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, speed and accuracy as well as hands on inspection.

Work Environment and PhysicalDemands

Use of upper extremities for simple and firm grasping as well as fine manipulation to push/pull/twist/hold and reach to operate controls, gauges, and to hold parts. Ability to lift from floor to waist to shoulder level, to reach, bend, and stand. Visual inspection of parts is required. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that will require use of personal protective equipment. Working hours can include any shift, weekday, weekend and may include mandatory overtime.
