This group is part of the North America Pricing and Marketing Operations team. This team manages pricing for servers in the Commercial business segment and provides analytical support to our organizational strategies. The Marketing Operations Sr. Advisor will work on a wide range of business impacting issues, to provide analytical structure, innovate problem solving, deep understanding of market, as well as issues as they present themselves. The Marketing Operations Sr. Advisor is expected to be able to identify problems, solutions, and program manage execution of the strategy across the Server Solution Group organization. This team is also responsible for development and assessment of our demand plan vs. our financial plan. The team identifies gaps in the plan and works with stakeholders on strategies to close the risk / develop opportunities.
Develop and implement frameworks / analysis / strategies to maximize sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met.
Evaluate effectiveness of business performance vs. market and assess against a 4P approach. Products – do we have adequate product coverage, Promotion – are our promotions effective at driving elasticity, Price – are we in price position, and Place – are our channels performing effectively.
Perform a quarterly assessment of the financial plan by building a grounds up business analysis based on demand plan, pricing, pipeline, business trends, etc. to identify opportunities / risks for an upcoming period (Next Quarter, 2 nd Half, Following Fiscal Year)
Develop innovative approaches for understanding market performance and communication of market behaviors. The team is responsible for the development of tools that help the organization assess macro level product coverage in order to identify portfolio level gaps as well as micro level product coverage to assess gaps in our product offering (Do we have the right components).
Develop reporting structures to help supplement existing business reporting for business critical / but short term in nature analysis.
Account level analysis to determine relative health of the account base. The team spearheads frameworks for analysis such as 9 box RAD, Margin profiling, channel cannibalization and other account level analysis.

- MBA Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related discipline
