Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a Service Lead in the area of Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations. This position will support a client contract in Rockville, MD. We are looking for someone who has the ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives in a fast paced, high pressure and relatively complex technical environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

This role will support a contract with a client in Rockville, MD. In their capacity as Service Area Lead, this individual shall be responsible for working directly with the client to maintain and incrementally improve their respective support areas. This person will also participate in direct operational delivery of services as well as act as Lead resource

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience supporting Federal organizations with disaster recovery and continuity of operations including planning, testing, and optimizing plans and capabilities

• Experience planning, implementing, and supporting data replication approaches

• Experience planning, implementing, and supporting fail-over site planning including cold, warm, and hot site approaches

• Experience researching, planning, implementing, and/or supporting cloud-based disaster recovery-oriented services

• Certifications in disaster or continuity planning or equivalent experience

*Due to the nature of the contract, US citizenship is required.
