Job Title: Milling Operator Requisition Number: 17HTI220Location: Martinsville, VA Reports to: Operations ManagerPrepared Date: August 9, 2017Position Description Summary:To operate milling machines, other assigned equipment and perform tasks as trained to process quality Vespel parts while meeting established production rates.Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):Follow standard operating procedures and/or work instructions.Operate all inspection and production equipment including computer operated milling machines and laser measurement devices to ensure parts meet quality specifications.Use of industrial chemicals in the production process.Maintain daily, high standard of order and arrangement of the operational area and equipment.Maintain area supplies, tooling, and measurement devices to meet production requirements.Must be able to pay particular attention to detail in all processes.May use pallet jacks and lift trucks when permitted.Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Essential Functions:Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
