Specific activities may change from time to time.Key responsibilities include:Managing technology equipment ordering for BB&T Securities.Responsible for coordinating onboarding activities for BB&T Securities.1. Lead small work teams in development of strategic plans, leveraging both technical solutions and business process improvement. Make recommendations based on findings to department manager/head.2. Coordinate systems implementation, testing and any training that becomes necessary as a result of conclusions reached in project-related activities of systems implementation or policy change. Serve as the primary technical resource of an assigned system.3. Utilize PC and/or mainframe-based systems and software. Compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.4. Proactively participate in continuous review and updates of current policies and procedures to ensure that they meet changing business unit conditions.5. Document and maintain statistics, records and reports that help establish policies, procedures and quality control standards.6. Provide input, counsel, and leadership to support planning and prioritization of business systems-related activities. Includes developing the business unit systems plan using knowledge of industry trends and technologies to integrate that plan with the corporate systems plan.Required Skills and Competencies:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
