VCU Health System's Pediatric Administration, is seeking a full time Operation Analyst Sr. to compile and analyze complex financial, regulatory and operational information and projects. Ongoing projects will include serving as the point person for all Special Project Requests; operational benchmarking; planning and return on investment program analysis; oversight of organizational initiatives and other duties in the business unit as assigned.
With minimal direction and applying critical thinking skills, performs a variety of complex analysis at the request of senior management. Develops business and operational plans for new ventures; tests business concepts; and validates assumptions. Identifies objects and completes work to meet the timeframe while providing comprehensive analysis; communicates results. Attends staff and organizational events; creates a team environment; maintains effective relationships. Identifies and implements both revenue enhancements and cost reduction initiatives. Assumes the leadership role for special projects. Researches and develops benchmark measures; designs, implements and communicates this information. Represents the senior leadership and directors at internal and external meetings as required. Prepares presentations for internal and external audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business or closely related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management and program/data analysis and interpretation
Previous experience in business/finance role as an analyst
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field from an accredited program.
Previous experience and exposure to multi dimensions of healthcare
