M&O Sales Operations is focused on enabling our Commercial sales organization within Global Sales Marketing & Operations (GSMO) to achieve those aspirations by providing the tools, systems, process and resources to optimally execute within the Areas. Sales Excellence acts as the catalyst within the Area to drive transformation, focus on the business, and customer and partner execution across the various sales organizations.

M&O is looking for a thought leader to be the Community Lead and owner of the Sales Excellence roles within GSMO. In this role, you and your team will be responsible for leading the transformation of this critical community and ensuring they are enabled and equipped to drive execution within the Areas.

Key responsibilities include: Leading a team focused on supporting and driving the transformation of the Sales Excellence role within the Areas in support of the new Commercial model

  • Ensuring full alignment across Sales Excellence on accountabilities, comp plans & design for field roles

  • Coaching Sales Excellence on team/ role optimal performance

  • Driving thought leadership & alignment on strategies and execution plans across roles

  • Engage with field leadership to ensure alignment of Sales Excellence focus and accountabilities within each Area

  • Partner with the Business and Sales Operations team in Redmond and within the Areas to ensure optimal execution within the Commercial model

  • Build and provide platform for Sales Excellence to collaboratively solve issues

  • Create mechanisms to enable peer to peer communication and best practice sharing across Sales Excellence

  • Enable consolidation of two-way communication between corp and field, to gather insights and share learnings from field across the different Sales Excellence communities

  • Drive connection and synthesis with WCB to ensure strategies are aligned within the Areas

  • Ensure consistent content for hiring guides/ role profiles Orchestrating and supervising role onboarding, development/ learning path consistent plans

  • Influence and provide strategic context to field LT to hire the right profiles

Skills and Qualifications: BS/BA degree required / MBA/Masters or an advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of Sales Excellence/Sales Operations or Business Management Experience

  • Experience working in a subsidiary in a Sales Manager/Sales Leader role

  • Ability to operate at senior levels of the company, develop key processes and procedures that facilitate management of the business, and build successful relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to help drive results Strong teamwork skills and ability to successfully drive cross-functional stakeholder consensus and action planning

  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, work as a team leader, and demonstrated ability to influence senior managers to achieve consensus and drive results

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high pressure / fast paced environments and consistently delivering on expectations - Travel requirements: 30%
