Job id : 8291 Job Description Primary duties of this position are, but not limited to, fluid product receiving, product load out, and product supply or transfer to production processes. Other operational duties include clean-in-place ( CIP), clean--out-of-place (COP) gaskets, master sanitation and other tasks in this area as assigned by their supervisor Duties and Responsibilities: *Perform the duties required to maintain their assigned area sanitary and clean *Receive fluid products, check storage vessels *Must observe product flow into and out of storage vessels and respond to any problems such as leaks or burst lines *Follow steps to insure proper operation and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of the equipment in his area *Complete and maintain H.A.C.C.P record keeping such as filling in charts and sanitation sheets *Take samples of product in a sanitary fashion for lab testing *Set up pipelines, valves and hoses *Prepare tanks and silos as needed for production needs according to daily production plan *Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements *Obtain and maintain all certification and licenses that are required Physical Demands and Work Environment: *Ability to consume and/or work with milk products *Sitting, standing, kneeling, bending *Work will be done both in a partially climate controlled office environment, as well as in partially shipping and receiving bay. The actual operation of plant equipment is necessary and awareness of potential hazards surrounding the equipment and operation must be recognized *Use personal protective equipment as required *Work 7 days a week as required Requirements Education and Experience *High School Diploma/GED *1+ Years Manufacturing Experience Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities *Good communication skills, both oral and written *Must be able to use and understand calculations used for weights *Must be able to hook up hoses , change jumpers *Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written, sufficiently to prepare and comprehend wash tags, shipping and receiving paperwork, master sanitation schedule and communicate with trucks and fellow employees *Shows willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems and presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures.
