Kelly Services Electronic Assembly Operator in Rapid City, South Dakota

Job Description

1.Perform Product assembly operations such as soldering components, printing and applying labels, operating small machines and tools, and casing/ covering units.

2.Monitor equipment, parts usage and scrap

3.Preform First Level Troubleshooting and repairs

  1. Propose and participate in process improvement initiatives such as Small Group Activities and Kaizen events

Requirements

  • Understand, execute and provide feedback on product drawings, designs and pre production runs

  • Ability to provide input for training operators

  • Ability to define safety problems and situations, concerns and violations

  • Ability to observe and monitor to identify opportunities to improve ergonomics and human factors

  • Understand and willing to participate in Kaizen events

  • Understand hand tooling and soldering selection and use

  • Ability to multi task while being flexible and adaptable

  • Support the team in being fully engaged in process improvements

  • Understand tool and equipment capabilities/limtations
