Job Summary

Vivint Smart Home is on the cutting edge of advanced Smart Home

technology, and as Talent Operations Manager you are responsible for leading

and inspiring a highly talented team of Talent Operations Coordinators. At

As a Talent Operations Manager you will work closely with the Senior Director of

Talent Acquisition to effectively communicate their vision to your team, and the

needs of the team back to the Director. Your leadership is essential to the

ongoing success of our Talent Operations objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Talent Operations team, including but not limited to new hire experience, systems compliance, and onboarding exceptions

  • Lead the way in managing and participating in the full spectrum of the onboarding process, including Workday management, creating offer letters, job requisition management, training coordination, and new hire welcome experience

  • Work side by side with team to assess employee effectiveness; provide coaching, feedback, and performance management to team members as needed

  • Hold weekly 1:1 meetings with each team member

  • Be and expert on and train team to use the company HRIS

  • Generate excitement around the company goals and initiatives to your team as well as to potential candidates

  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure their leadership presence is felt even when they are not in the office

  • As needed, support field territories to ensure an efficient new-hire experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a related field of study such as Human Resources

  • Two or more years of successful corporate recruiting process experience

  • Two or more years management or supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience managing HRIS; Workday experience preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Background check is mandatory

  • Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to employees

  • Proven leadership experience, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within the organization, and leverage influential leadership

  • Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to assertively solve strategic problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
