Leads strong and effective communication to global stakeholders to ensure consistency across stakeholders. Leads cross-functional projects and supporting, designing and developing analyses to support successful clinical trials. Leverages analytics utilizing technology-driven data (Excel macros, etc.) to guide and lead the business toward its objectives. Provides high-impact reporting that informs senior leaders in making decisions that lead to the realization of benefits, avoidance of cost, identification of new opportunities, and/or understanding of required resources. Scope of work has broad organizational reach and impact within CTM to create a more innovative and strategic business area.Relationships* Reports to the Associate Director - Operational Execution. Has close interaction with the CTM Senior Leadership Team, staff across the department and high-level global stakeholders in Global Development. External relationships include outside consultants and suppliers. Ensures strong collaboration with stakeholders in CTM, NACMR and GD at all levels of the business in regards to business performance.Essential FunctionsPROJECT SUPPORT:* Drive creation of trial-level strategies across portfolios in collaboration with Trial Management* Collaborates effectively with stakeholders (CTM, GD, etc.) on a variety of projects and ensure expectations are met* Contributes to business planning and tracking, including regular monitoring and updates of CTM balanced scorecard* Drives Portfolio Business Review meetings with Senior Leadership Team, Trial Management and Business Management leadership teams* Coordinate trial-level communications across portfolios with TM to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of updates to GD* Contributes to process improvements with innovative ideas and recommendations; drives others to innovate.* Drive proactive trial risk identification and potential mitigations in collaboration with TM* Execute data analyses to ascertain level of trial risks and impact of potential mitigations.* Develops insights about business performance and acts in advisory role to Senior Management by conducting scheduled and ad hoc data analyses Develops metrics to monitor performance, improvements, and benefit to the organization and provide technical ideas for automating manual activity and reporting.* Provide training and support to junior members on the OE team.* Establishes own work priorities and selects tools and approaches for assignments.* Gathers data from various sources, evaluates and assimilates to deliver accurate and insightful REV analyses.* Leads and/or contributes to analysis and improvement projects in alignment with local and global teams.* Manages the maintenance and administration of data* Monitors the external landscape for current and potential future changes with impact on the business of clinical trials, including regulatory, healthcare, and competitive development* Performs complex ad-hoc analyses in response to queries posed by stakeholders in a timely manner.* Proactively identifies data-based business performance drivers and communicates them to leadership.TEAM COORDINATION:* Accountable for compliance and quality of CATS reporting.* Active membership to local/global project teams.* Assists with ensuring that quality of performance is in accordance with departmental expectations for function.* Attends relevant team and department meetings, forums, conferences and scientific meetings, as necessary.* Identifies, leads, develops, supports and communicates functional, departmental or organizational initiatives.* Participates in cross-functional teams locally/globally to assure timely atta
