To operate equipment used to process salt.
Operating all food grade equipment (Salt Dryer, Screener, Wash Plant, Conveyor Systems) from the crude pile to the bagging equipment as required to generate finished product that meets the Canaveral food grade standards.
Being proficient in the proper operation of each component in the system with the goal of generating the proper size, type, and purity of salt required.
Be thoroughly familiar with the product specifications required to meet the Quality standards in order to generate the proper size, type, and purity of salt required .
Be thoroughly familiar with and completing the required documentation to validate the finished product meets or exceeds the Quality standards.
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the level of cleanliness required for food grade plant requirements.
Assist with plant related maintenance/repair as required.
Participate in Reliability improvements at facility. Identify potential problems and suggest corrections.
Other duties as assigned.
Operate material conveyance equipment and processing equipment.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Willing to do hands on work.
Knowledge of industrial workings.
Ability to learn new task.]
High School diploma or equivalent.
