Position Description

• Operate D-9 and D-10 Dozer equipped with concave blade attached across front to gouge out, level, and distribute petroleum from storage to re-claimer, from processing units/pit to storage in a safe and efficient manner • Operate bulldozer in successive passes over terrain to raise or lower terrain to specified grade • Operate Front End Loader, Bobcat, Manlift, and Track Hoe and Forklift • Maintain all mobile and stationary equipment by performing preventive maintenance, i.e.: lubricating, cleaning, greasing, adding gear lubricants and other minor maintenance and repairs; documents all activity performed • Assist coworkers and maintenance crew on various jobs

Position Requirements

• Understand and comply with Valero and Kinder Morgan rules and policies • Must be willing to work day or night shifts/overtime hours during the week or weekend hours • In order to perform essential duties, regular work attendance is required • Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's driver license and have willingness to use personnel/company vehicle in course of employment • Must pass and complete safety training/certification as required by customers to work in their facilities and as required by Kinder Morgan •Successful completion of background check and post-offer and random drug screens • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge • A minimum of eight months to one year experience in Heavy equipment especially D9 dozers, D10, track hoes, etc.
