Lead Cisco Voice Engineer

We are seeking a highly creative and intellectually curious Voice Engineer manager who is passionate about Voice, Networking, and all things geeky.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
Lead and manage a team of Support Engineers focused on relentless protection of our Voice eco-system: identify opportunities and drive service and process improvements, be diligent about Incident/Problem, Change/Release, Security, Risk/Compliance, and Proactive Monitoring. Take on the responsibility of asset and inventory management, track performance against SLAs to ensure timely resolutions to incidents, the culmination of which resulting in highly available systems
Team management responsibilities include providing daily guidance and oversight of associate performance and development and administering performance reviews
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software and hardware in the Cisco CUCM environment
Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to Windows servers, Cisco appliances, VMware and Voice Gateways to ensure proper functionality
Address Reporting, Monitoring, and Alarming requirements
Perform administration, configuration, and monitoring for Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Avotus, VMware, Linux, and Unigy /NTR equipment
Assist in the planning and implementation of Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Avotus, VMware, Linux and Unigy/NTR equipment upgrades, patches, enhancements and new site builds
Identify applications and systems that require updates and coordinate the implementation with the business owner
Create and maintain support documentation as required
When necessary, be available for on-call support for Voice Network Systems and act as an escalation point for high severity incidents
Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and execution
Coordinate, test, and implement applications and technology through projects and initiatives

While you don’t have to scale buildings, implementing scalable system solutions is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering teams, solving complex business problems together

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or military experience
At least 3 years of management experience
At least 5 years’ Cisco VoIP experience
At least 5 years’ experience with MGCP, SIP, and CUBE
At least 5 years’ experience with CUCM, Unity Connection, and Emergency Responder
At least 3 years’ experience with VMware,BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ACLs, TCP/IP, QoS, and Cisco IoS
At least 2 years’ experience working within an ITIL framework, Linux, and Billing servers
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering
ITIL V2/V3 Foundations Certification
CCNP and CCNP Voice Certification strongly desired
