    • Key Responsibilities * The incumbent is responsible logistics and export operations and analytics to support all SBUs in USCA to achieve optimum performance. The individual continuously develop and improve the cost effectiveness, productivity, and quality of logistics services while achieving customer satisfaction. The role accountabilities include:

    Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize freight and supply chain networks to achieve operations excellence.

    Effectively manage team to provide day-to-day logistics support and issues resolution.

    Manage transportation and carrier performance to ensure reliable and efficient deliveries to customers .

    Implement selected carriers/contract terms/rates/routing guides, and manage compliance.

    D evelop programs and manage projects to optimize freight and carrier selection, reduce freight costs, convert to low cost modes/carriers/services, and improve service.

    Manage freight payment and invoice auditing to provide timely and accurate payment to carriers.

    Generate freight metrics to track performance and identify opportunities, and effectively communicate with the team and SBUs to develop corrective actions to drive change.

    Manage the development and implementation of export processes and procedures, including export documentation to enable export shipments occur

    Manage ocean freight audit process and support corporate export compliance initiatives in legal department.

    • Experience and Education * Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, and supply chain management, preferably an MBA with 8-10 years leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of transportation, logistics operations, and customer service requirements. International exposure or experience is required. Demonstrated high-level professional ability in both written and oral communication is imperative. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and people management skills in a fast paced, dynamic work environment are a must.
